Food grade catalase enzyme


INTRODUCTION

This protuct is a powder-type catalase, which is a kind of deoxidizing enzyme made through cultivation and extraction technique. It can effectively catalyses the transformation of residual hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water. and can be widely used in food, textile, paper, electronics, and other industries to remove hydrogen peroxide, a significant saving of water resources and reduce energy consume.

DEFINITION OF UNIT

1 unit of catalase equals to the amount of enzyme which degrades 1μmol of H2O2 at 37℃ and pH7.0 in 1 min.

Inactivation
Raising temperature above 100℃ for 10 minutes, or raising the pH above 12.0 for 10 minutes can inactivate Conzyme® CAT completely.
APPLICATION

1.For food industry to remove residual hydrogen peroxide after using it as bleacher, oxidation, starch denaturant and preservative in food processing;

2.can be used for eliminating the special odor of hydrogen peroxide caused by ultraviolet irradiation in production of milk, egg products, cheese and other products;

3.also used as leavening agent of baking food.

STORAGE

Should be stored in a dry place with temperature between 5-25℃

SHELF LIFE

6-9 months, subject to storage condition.
